Part of a loutrophoros' body decorated in the red-figure technique and a characteristic example of the "Rich Style". It was found in 1957 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments and was reassembled.

It depicts an epavlia scene with two women framing the bride. They are both offering her as presents small boxes decorated with branches and wreaths. The bride is wearing a necklace and earrings and has her hair gathered in a leaf-decorated sphendone. Above her an Eros holding a branch is hovering. Erotes emphasised the beauty of the bride, acting as symbols at the same time of the sensual connection of the newlyweds. Green branches and wreaths were used for the decoration of the houses as well as the adornment of the participants. They are related to fertility and prosperity which would accompany the new couple.
